My first, but not the only one

On April 26, 2018, the opening of my first solo exhibition, “We See What We Want to Feel”, took place in Aluksne town library. Later, the exhibition moved to Aluksne State Gymnasium, where I also shared my knowledge about photography with students and thought about photographic art.

The central object of the exhibition was a photo story. 7 days, 7 pictures, 7 titles - 1 short story. “About what?” About the fact that the pictures speak. About the fact that on the other side of the lens is the one who catches a reference to his/her inner world in the environment and captures it. “About what else?” About the fact that every viewer from the other side sees what he/she wants to feel. Here it is, my 7-day picture story: “Morning. In the Whiff of Light, Behind Misty Legends, I am an Untouched Force that Puts on Another Beginning.”

Izstādē tika iekļauta logu kolekcija "Vienas mazpilsētas logi"

Logs ir plānāka robeža starp interjeru un eksterjeru, robeža, kur tie satiekas un izšķiras. Logus dēvē par mājas acīm un ja jau tie ir mājas acis, tad tie ir arī mājas dvēsele. Maza pilsēta - maza pasaule. Maza pasaule ar savu dvēseli. Ieskatīties logos - ieskatīties pilsētas dvēselē.
